SPRINGBOIG PHASE 4.

CLIENT – SHETTLESTON HOUSING ASSOCIATION.

As an ongoing programme of refurbishment to steel sheeted dwellings within the Springboig area of Glasgow, Helforn Ltd was awarded Phase 4 through open tender. The client has very apprehensive and concerned as previous phases had long over-run their contract programming.

Fifty Four dated dwellings require reconstruction of the external fabric with the removal of existing sheets and construction of new facing brick external leaf, formation of porches, rot works, rising damp work, drainage and associated landscaping work.

The contract was issued by Shettleston Housing Association and has been difficult to coordinate with the tight site and meeting the need of tenants. Our Contracts team has worked hard to meet contract programme and maintain works within the contract budget and still meet the high standards required. The works are expected to be completed within the contract programme and with the client and tenants happy with the standard of works and excellent progress phase 5 & 6 are due to be negotiated with Helforn.
